Landmarks: Zijdemarkt (Silk Market), the Cathay enclave

A breeding-ground for up-and-coming small businessmen. Sharp reputation.

Middle class area

Oudgeldwijk (Old Money Ward)
Original home for nobility, now in a state of genteel poverty.

Paleisbuurt (Palace District)
The center of the city's official government. A showcase of the city's success.
Landmarks: Embassy Row, The New Palace

Rijker's Isle (Rijcker's Island)
Fortress and prison. Avoid at all costs.

Rijkspoort (Rijk's Gate)
Middle and Working-class area, as well as home to a large number of fishermen.
Landmarks: Kislevietweg (Kislevan Way), Luigistad (Luigi's Town, Tilean neighbourhood), Indierswijk (Indie District)

Schattenwaard (Treasure Holm)
Middle class area

Tempelwijk (Temple District)
Tempelwijk is the intellectual and spiritual centre of Marienburg.
Landmarks: Cathedral of Manaan, Baron Henryk's College of Navigation and Sea Magicks, Temple of Haendryk, Cathedral of Shallya and the temple of Myrmidia Di Mari

Winkelmarkt (Craftsmarket)
Small boat-building and famous sausages. Lower middle-class, in decline.1
